Embassy of Oman to host ‘High-Level Investment Promotion Event’ in New Delhi on September 17
New Delhi
In a continued effort to strengthen bilateral trade and investment ties between India and the Sultanate of Oman, the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in New Delhi, will host an Investment Promotion Event on 17 September 2025. The event aims to showcase strategic sectoral opportunities within Oman’s rapidly developing Khazaen Economic City, with a focus on attracting targeted Indian investments.
This high-level business interaction is designed to align with Oman’s national vision for industrial diversification and economic development, and to connect Indian enterprises with viable projects in logistics, manufacturing, and commercial retail infrastructure. To ensure meaningful B2B engagement and investment facilitation, IACCIA is currently in the process of identifying and inviting leading Indian companies across four key sectors.
The priority sectors for this initiative include:
• Food Processing and Cold Chain Logistics: In line with Oman’s Food City and warehousing clusters, this segment seeks Indian companies with expertise in food preservation, processing, and temperature-controlled supply chain solutions.
• Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Logistics: With Oman positioning itself as a distribution hub for the GCC and African markets, Indian pharmaceutical and medical logistics firms are well-placed to explore regional partnerships and warehousing solutions.
• Textiles and Factory Outlets: Linked to the Commercial Boulevard project in Khazaen, this sector invites Indian textile manufacturers, garment exporters, and retail chains looking to establish factory outlets or regional showrooms.
• Light Manufacturing and Export-Oriented SMEs: Leveraging Oman’s plug-and-play industrial infrastructure and export-friendly policies, Indian SMEs in electronics, packaging, tools, and other light industries are encouraged to explore scalable manufacturing setups.
The Khazaen Economic City, a flagship initiative of the Sultanate of Oman, offers a compelling investment ecosystem with integrated logistics hubs, flexible land leasing, tax incentives, and proximity to major ports and highways. Project brochures and sectoral summaries will be provided to help companies assess alignment with their strategic goals.
Indian companies interested in participating in this exclusive investment promotion event are requested to contact IACCIA at the earliest for registration, screening, and inclusion in the curated B2B matchmaking sessions.
This event represents a unique opportunity for Indian businesses to explore regional expansion into the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region via Oman, with institutional support and diplomatic engagement. IACCIA remains committed to facilitating impactful Indo-Arab partnerships that deliver shared prosperity and long-term growth.
