IACCIA to drive economic prosperity, says FICCI’s Gautam Ghosh

Mr. Gautam Ghosh, Director of International Affairs at the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), emphasized the significance of the newly-formed India-Arab Countries Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (IACCIA), calling it a landmark initiative for enhancing economic and strategic cooperation between India and the Arab world.

Collaborative Efforts Behind IACCIA

Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Ghosh highlighted that the establishment of IACCIA is a result of collaborative efforts between the Indian government, FICCI, and various Arab governments. He described the Chamber as a pivotal platform for fostering deeper trade and investment ties, facilitating business opportunities, and strengthening diplomatic and economic relations between the two regions.

Reaffirming FICCI’s commitment to supporting initiatives that drive mutual growth, Mr. Ghosh stressed that the Chamber will play a crucial role in achieving sustainable development, economic prosperity, and long-term cooperation across diverse sectors, including trade, technology, infrastructure, and energy.
