Kuwait Opens New Era of Investment, Strengthens Ties with India
His Excellency Mesha’al Al Shamali, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to India, has announced the beginning of a new investment era in Kuwait, one that is open and encouraging to foreign investors — with a special emphasis on Indian companies. He highlighted that such investments would significantly contribute to strengthening the already historic and friendly bilateral relationship between Kuwait and India, bringing mutual benefit to the peoples of both nations.
This announcement came during a cordial and productive meeting with Dr. Waiel Awwad, Acting Secretary General of the India and Arab Countries Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in New Delhi .During the meeting, H.E. Ambassador Al Shamali commended Dr. Awwad for his tireless efforts to promote economic and cultural cooperation between India and the Arab world through the Chamber. The Ambassador expressed Kuwait’s full support for the Chamber’s initiatives, recognizing it as a vital platform for building deeper partnerships with India.
As part of ongoing efforts to deepen bilateral ties, the State of Kuwait is planning a series of special events throughout next year to commemorate the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Kuwait. These events will celebrate decades of friendship and cooperation while paving the way for a future of stronger economic, cultural, and strategic collaboration.
Kuwait’s Vision 2035 is central to the country’s economic transformation, aiming to diversify its economy beyond oil and create a dynamic investment climate for international partners. Indian companies, known for their innovation and global competitiveness, are well positioned to play a vital role in this ambitious national transformation.

نيو دلهي…أعلن سعادة السفير مشعل الشمالي، سفير دولة الكويت لدى الهند، عن انطلاق مرحلة استثمارية جديدة في الكويت، وهي مرحلة منفتحة ومشجّعة للمستثمرين الأجانب، مع التركيز بشكل خاص على الشركات الهندية. وأكد أن هذه الاستثمارات ستسهم بشكل كبير في تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية التاريخية والودية بين الكويت والهند، بما يعود بالنفع المتبادل على شعبي البلدين.

في إطار الجهود المتواصلة لتوطيد العلاقات الثنائية، تُخطط دولة الكويت لتنظيم سلسلة من الفعاليات الخاصة خلال العام المقبل احتفالاً بالذكرى الخامسة والستين للعلاقات الدبلوماسية بين الهند والكويت. وستحتفي هذه الفعاليات بعقود من الصداقة والتعاون، وتمهد الطريق لمستقبلٍ زاخرٍ بتعاون اقتصادي وثقافي وإستراتيجي أقوى. تُعدّ رؤية الكويت 2035 محورًا أساسيًا للتحول الاقتصادي في البلاد، إذ تهدف إلى تنويع اقتصادها بعيدًا عن النفط، وتهيئة مناخ استثماري ديناميكي للشركاء الدوليين. وتتمتع الشركات الهندية، المعروفة بابتكارها وقدرتها التنافسية العالمية، بمكانة مرموقة تُمكّنها من لعب دور حيوي في هذا التحول الوطني الطموح…
