Commitment to strengthening economic ties with India: Kuwait Envoy

The India & Arab Countries Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (IACCIA) had the honor of receiving H.E. Mr. Mesha`al Al-Shamali, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of India, in courtesy visit to the Chamber’s headquarters. The visit underscored the deep-rooted brotherly and economic ties between the Arab world and India, and reaffirmed the shared commitment to furthering mutual cooperation.
Dr. Waiel Awwad, Acting secretary General of IACCIA, extended his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to H.E. the Ambassador, on behalf of himself and the Chamber’s Board Members, for this esteemed visit. He emphasized the positive impact it had in supporting the Chamber’s mission and in reinforcing collaborative efforts to advance Arab-Indian relations, particularly with the State of Kuwait. Dr. Awwad also affirmed the Chamber’s readiness to fully support the efforts of the Kuwaiti Embassy in all related areas.
In his remarks, Ambassador Al-Shamali highlighted the pivotal role the Chamber plays in promoting economic ties between Arab countries and India. He noted the long-standing and historically rich relationship between Arab nations and the friendly Republic of India—built over centuries of trade, cultural exchange, and mutual respect.
The meeting featured fruitful discussions on expanding trade exchange, exploring investment opportunities, and enhancing joint cooperation mechanisms. Both sides expressed a shared vision for advancing mutual interests and aligning with the developmental priorities of both regions.
Dr. Awwad also commended the Ambassador’s commitment to supporting economic development and praised the efforts of the Kuwaiti Embassy in fostering communication and building strong public-private partnerships between India and the Arab world.
At the conclusion of the visit, both sides reaffirmed the importance of continuing such constructive engagements and expressed their mutual dedication to further enhancing economic and trade relations between the Arab world and the Republic of India.
السفير الكويتي يزور مقر الغرفة التجارية العربية الهندية ويؤكد حرص بلاده على تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي مع الهند

استقبلت الغرفة التجارية العربية الهندية للتجارة والصناعة والزراعة سعادة سفير دولة الكويت لدى جمهورية الهند السيد مشعل الشمالي ، في زيارة رسمية إلى مقر الغرفة، عبّرت عن عمق العلاقات الأخوية والاقتصادية التي تربط العالم العربي بجمهورية الهند.
وقد أعرب القائم باعمال الغرفة الدكتور وائل عواد ، بالأصالة عن نفسه ونيابةً عن أعضاء مجلس الإدارة، عن بالغ شكره وتقديره لسعادة السفير على هذه الزيارة الكريمة، التي كان لها أثر إيجابي كبير في دعم عمل الغرفة والعمل على توطيد أواصر التعاون وسبل تكريسها في خدمة العلاقات العربية الهندية بشكل عام والكويت بشكل خاص .وأعرب عن استعداده لتقديم كل ما أمكن من المساعدة من الغرفة لجهود السيد السفير .
وتحدث سعادة السفير على اهمية دور الغرفة في دعم عمل الدول العربية وشد اواصر التقارب بين الشعوب العربية والهند الصديقة التي تربطها بالعالم العربي علاقات متينة وقديمة تعزز عبر القرون الماضية على الصداقة والاخوة والتعاون المثمر .
وشهد اللقاء نقاشات مثمرة تناولت سبل تنمية التبادل التجاري، وتوسيع مجالات الاستثمار، وتفعيل قنوات التعاون المشترك، بما يسهم في خدمة المصالح المتبادلة ويواكب التوجهات التنموية لكلا الطرفين.
وأكد الدكتور عواد عن تقديره لحرص سعادة السفير على دعم مسيرة التنمية الاقتصادية، مشيدًا بالدور الذي تقوم به سفارة دولة الكويت في تسهيل التواصل وبناء الشراكات بين القطاعين العام والخاص في الهند والعالم العربي.
وفي ختام اللقاء، أكد الطرفان أهمية استمرار هذه اللقاءات البناءة، وجدّدا التزامهما بمواصلة التنسيق والتعاون بما يخدم العلاقات التجارية والاستثمارية بين الدول العربية وجمهورية الهند.
