From Tech to Truffles: Morocco’s 2025 Events Aim to Spark Sectoral Growth
Morocco is set to host a dynamic lineup of economic, agricultural, and industrial events throughout 2025, aiming to boost international partnerships, trade, and sectoral development across the kingdom.
Starting the year strong, Gitex Africa, a major IT and outsourcing event, will take place in Marrakech from April 14–16, followed by the International Agriculture Exhibition in Meknes from April 21–27, one of the most prominent agriculture expos in North Africa.
The spring season brings diverse opportunities, including the Morocco-Brazil Forum in Tangiers (April, date TBD), the International Perfume Rose Exhibition in Kelaa M’Gouna, and the International Argan Fair in Agadir in May. Casablanca will host the Industry Meeting Morocco on May 14–15, while El Jadida will organize Medical Expo 2025 from May 23–26.
In summer, the spotlight will be on Moroccan diaspora engagement through the Moroccan Expatriates Awards in Marrakech and a Conference on Expatriate Investments (dates TBD). The 5th Festival of Berries in Larache/Kenitra and National Truffle Fair in Sah are also scheduled, along with incoming delegations of agribusiness importers from Asia and GCC countries visiting Casablanca and Rabat.
Come autumn, Morocco’s agricultural calendar gets busier with regional festivals celebrating figs (Taounate), apples (Ifrane and Midelt), cereals (Berrechid), almonds (Aknoul), olives (Guercif), and saffron (Taliouine). Industrial and export sectors will gather at Tangiers Industry Meeting Days and the Forum Medays Conference, respectively.
Key agro-industrial highlights include the 16th Horse Show in El Jadida (October) and the 14th Dates Exhibition “SIDATES” in Erfoud (November).
