Jordanian Ambassador to India commends IACCIA’ efforts to promote Indo-Arab business & trade
Dr. Waiel S.H. Awwad, Acting Secretary General of the India-Arab Countries Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (IACCIA), paid a courtesy visit to H.E. the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ambassador to India Yousif Abdulghani at the Embassy in New Delhi.
During the meeting, Dr. Awwad briefed His Excellency about the ongoing initiatives and activities of IACCIA aimed at strengthening economic cooperation between India and the Arab world. He sought the Ambassador’s support in further promoting bilateral trade and investment, and emphasized the role of IACCIA as a vital platform for fostering collaboration and encouraging Indian businesses to explore opportunities in Jordan and the wider Arab region.
H.E. the Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the Chamber’s efforts and congratulated Dr. Awwad on his work in enhancing India-Arab economic ties. He reaffirmed the Kingdom’s support for IACCIA and welcomed initiatives that bring the business communities of both nations closer together.
It is to be noted that India and Jordan share historically strong relationships, with business and trade partnerships growing steadily across various sectors. Jordan offers a conducive investment climate and a range of opportunities that are well-aligned with the interests of Indian investors.
The meeting underscored a shared commitment to building bridges of cooperation and leveraging mutual strengths to drive sustainable economic growth.
The Ambassador stressed on the importance of strengthening economic ties between India and the Arab world and commended the role that ACCIA could play in this regard.
He also welcomed any Indian business delegations or prospect investors that would like to visit Jordan to explore business opportunities in the Jordanian market.
سعادة السفير الأردني لدى الهند يشيد بجهود غرفة التجارة والصناعة والزراعة الهندية العربية (IACCIA) في تعزيز التعاون التجاري بين الهند والدول العربية
نيودلهي – قام الدكتور وائل عواد، القائم بأعمال الأمين العام لغرفة التجارة والصناعة والزراعة الهندية العربية (IACCIA)، بزيارة سعادة سفير المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية لدى الهند، السيد يوسف عبد الغني، في مقر السفارة بنيودلهي.
وخلال اللقاء، استعرض الدكتور عواد أبرز المبادرات والأنشطة التي تقوم بها الغرفة لتعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري بين الهند والدول العربية، مشيرًا إلى دورها كمنصة محورية لتعميق الشراكات وتحفيز الشركات الهندية على استكشاف الفرص الاستثمارية في الأردن والمنطقة العربية. كما طلب دعم السفير في الدفع بالعلاقات التجارية والاستثمارية الثنائية إلى آفاق أرحب.
من جانبه، ثمّن سعادة السفير عبد الغني جهود الغرفة، وهنأ الدكتور عواد على ما يبذله من عمل لتعزيز العلاقات الاقتصادية بين الهند والعالم العربي. وأكد التزام المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية بدعم غرفة التجارة والصناعة والزراعة الهندية العربية، مرحبًا بكافة المبادرات التي تسهم في تقريب مجتمعي الأعمال في كلا البلدين.
وأشار السفير إلى عمق العلاقات التاريخية بين الهند والأردن، والتي تشهد تطورًا متزايدًا في مجالات متعددة، لاسيما التجارة والاستثمار. كما أبرز المناخ الاستثماري الجاذب في الأردن وتوافر فرص واعدة تتماشى مع تطلعات المستثمرين الهنود.
وفي ختام اللقاء، جدد السفير ترحيبه بالوفود التجارية الهندية والمستثمرين المحتملين الراغبين في زيارة الأردن، مشيدًا كذلك بالدور الحيوي الذي يمكن أن تلعبه غرفة التجارة والصناعة والزراعة في الأردن في تعزيز هذا التعاون الاقتصادي المشترك.
